The Design Process

The internet is filled with millions for floor plans and ideas… it can be over whelming! Where does one start? Some people are able to find one that is close to what they want and we can use that as a starting point. But be advised, most home plans downloaded off the internet do not meet Alaska’s arctic engineering code requirements. We design to the most recent building code put out by the International Residential Code (IRC) coupled with Alaska’s unique needs for arctic engineering.

We offer residential and commercial design services. Ranging from custom homes, multi-family, additions, remodels, pre engineered metal buildings, hangers, commercial business space, commercial landscaping plans and 3D modeling.

Blueprints:

Start from scratch and work with our designer to create a custom home of your dreams or a starter home for your family to grow in. We can also make plan modifications if you have a current plan that needs some sprucing up. We create our blueprints on half size sheets (11x17) unless full size is requested. You will receive 5 hard copy sets and a pdf of the blueprints. Our prices for blue prints are based on square footage and complexity of the design.

3D Modeling:

We can make a 3D model of your home, business or area. These have been used for fundraising, advertising, or just giving a better visual of the property before it's built. Prices are based on an hourly rate.
